Herakleia Pontike’li Historiograflar ve Eserleri

Bu makalenin amacı Herodoros, Promathidas, Amphitheos, Nymphis, Domitius Kallistratos ve Memnon tarafından Herakleia Pontike kentine dair yapılan çalışmaları, bu yazarların aktardığı görüşleri ve yine bunların gerek Anadolu gerekse Hellenistik Krallıklar ve Akdeniz dünyasıyla olan ilişkilerini incelemektir. Bu çalışmalar hem kent hem bölge hem de genel tarihsel bir yaklaşımla ilişkili olup bu makale de, ağırlıklı olarak Klasik ve Hellenistik dönem historiografya ve mythografya bağlamında, bu yazarların çalışmalarının analiz ve sentezini ele almaktadır.

Herakleia Pontike’li Historiograflar ve Eserleri

The aim of this article is to examine the works concerning Heracleia Pontica by: Hero­doros, Promathidas, Amphitheos, Nymphis, Domitius Kallistratos and Memnon’s, and the views that these authors express and their relations concerning Anatolia, the Hellenistic Kingdoms and the Mediterranean world. These works concern both the city and the region, and also the universal his­torical approach, that is an article addressing the analysis and synthesis of these writers’ contri­butions in terms largely of Classical and Hellenistic historiography and mythography.
