Antik Literatürden Örneklerle Akdeniz Dünyasında Kybele Kültü

Yaygın olarak Orta ve Batı Anadolu’da, aynı şekilde Akdeniz coğrafyasında özellikle de Yunanistan ve Roma’da karşımıza çıkan Kybele kültü çok köklü bir geçmişe sahiptir. Bu makale arkeolojik, epigrafik ve Yunan ve Roma antik edebi kaynaklarını inceleyerek söz konusu Kybele kültünün önemini açıklığa kavuşturmayı amaçlamaktadır.

Antik Literatürden Örneklerle Akdeniz Dünyasında Kybele Kültü

The cult of Kybele, which featured prominently in Central and Western Anatolia as well as in the Mediterranean area, and particularly in Greece and Rome, has a long history. The aim of this essay is to highlight this important cult by looking into archaeological, epigraphic and literary Greek and Roman sources.
