The purpose of this research was to develop new suggestions for effective music lesson by determining fourth and fifth grades students’ opinions in primary schools regarding realization and expectation level of music course. There were 89 female 96 male students in the distribution according to the gender. Datum have been obtained with a scale which was developed by the researchers. The coefficient of Cronbach’s Alpha related with the realization level of this measure was found to be 0,72; the coefficient of Cronbach’s Alpha related with expectation level of this measure was found to be 0,78. In this research, it was founded that the music lesson was not realized to be sufficient, but the students have positive thought with the need of music lesson.
