SALT Araştırma, Osmanlı Mühendis ve Mimar Cemiyeti’nin tarihine ışık tutacak yeni bir dijital koleksiyonu internet ortamında erişime açtı. Bu koleksiyonda, Osmanlı Mühendis ve Mimar Cemiyeti’nin 1920’lerde üyelerinden topladığı, kendi el yazılarıyla kaleme alınmış Osmanlıca özgeçmişleri ve Cemiyet’e ait üye listeleri bulunmaktadır. İstanbul Üniversitesi Edebiyat Fakültesi Bilim Tarihi Bölümü’nden iki araştırmacı bu koleksiyona ve diğer güncel kaynaklara başvurarak Osmanlı Mühendis ve Mimar Cemiyeti’ne ve üyelerine odaklanan bir kitap projesine başlamıştır.

SALT Research has published online a new digital collection that will shed light on the history of the Ottoman Society for Engineers and Architects. The collection includes the résumés that the Ottoman Society for Engineers and Architects collected from its members in the 1920s, each written in Ottoman Turkish in their own handwriting, and the list of members of the Society. Two researchers from the Department of the History of Science at Istanbul University Faculty of Letters started a book project focusing on the history of the Society and its members by referring to this collection and other current sources.
