Erişkin hastada dev juvenil polip: Olgu sunumu
Polip, epitelyal bir yüzeyden kaynaklanan makroskopik olarak görülebilen lezyonlara verilen addır. Polipler histolojik özelliklerine neoplastik olanlar ve neoplastik olmayanlar olarak iki gruba ayrılır. Juvenil polipler (JP) sıklıkla çocukluk ve genç yetişkin yaşlarda görülür. En sık olarak 2-4 yaşta görülür. Bu sunumda erişkin hastada rastlanan ve anemiye neden olan juvenil polip olgusunu sunmayı amaçladık.
Giant Juvenile Polyp in an Adult Patient: Case Report
The polyp is the name given to macroscopically visible lesions originating from an epithelial surface. The histological features of polyps are divided into two groups as neoplastic and non-neoplastic. Juvenile polyps (JP) are often seen in childhood and young adult ages. It most commonly occurs at 2-4 years of age. In this presentation, we aimed to present a case of juvenile polyp which is found in an adult patient and causes anemia.
