Nursing Process in the Covid-19 Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic, which affects the whole world, requires effective and comprehensive care and treatment in both diagnosed and at risk individuals. It is of great importance that nurses, who are at every step of the health care system and have a very important role in the effective execution of the COVID-19 pandemic, provide and maintain care of individuals with a humanistic and holistic perspective. In this process, it is recommended to use appropriate guides and classification systems in the nursing process, where nurses can use clinical reasoning and decision-making skills based on structured mental models to guide care practices. In this review, it is aimed to include guidelines that nurses can use in the nursing diagnosis and planning stages of the nursing process while providing care to individuals diagnosed with COVID-19 and at risk.
