Rational Emotive Therapy has much in common with the therapies that are oriented tosvard cognition, behavior, and action, in that is stresses thinking, judjing, deciding, analyzing, and doing. Rational Emotive Therapy is highly didactic, very directive, and concemed as much with. thinking as with feeling. It is based on the assumption that cognitions, emotions, and behaviors internet significantly and have a reciprocal cause-and effect relationship.
