Memede karsinosarkom olgusu

Carcinoma of the breast

Carcinosarcoma of the breast represents less than 1% of primary mammary malignancies. This tumor is defined histologically by both malignant connective tissue (sarcoma) and malignant epithelial component (carcinoma). Clinically, the majority otthe patients with mammary carcinosarcoma present with breast swelling or a palpabl mass, and the exact histologie diagnosis can not be made preoperatively by radiologie methods. But this diagnosis may be suggested with mammographie findings of cloudy calcification assosiated with an asymétrie dens mass. In this case, mammographie, ultrasonographic, clinical and histological features of this rare carcinosarcoma, which is infrequent than other breast sarcomas such as malignant fibrous histiocytoma, liposarcoma and fibrosarcoma are discussed with a review of the literature.
