Bu çalışmaya Samsun Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Dermatoloji Anabilim Dalı Polikliniği'ne başvuran, İnterdijital tip Tinea Pedis (TP) tanısı almış 40 hasta dahil edildi. İki hasta grubunda Klotrimazol ve Alüminyum hidroksiklorid (AHK) kombinasyonu ile Klotrimazol ve plasebo kombinasyonunun etkileri karşılaştırıldı. Bu çalışma çift kör, plasebo kontrollü olarak yürütüldü ve hastalar randomize olarak iki gruba ayrıldı. Her iki grubun hastaları klotrimazolu sabah uyguladılar. Akşam 1. grup plaseboyu uygularken, 2. grup AHK'yı uyguladı. Hastalar yaş, cins, hastalık süresi, daha önce aldıkları tedaviler, tedavi öncesi ve sonrası mikolojik tetkikler, semptomlar, tüm ve hedef lezyon bulguları ve yan etki açısından değerlendirildiler. Tedavi sonunda 2. gruptaki hastaların semtomlanndaki azalma 1. gruptan daha fazla idi (p0.05). Tedavi esnasında özellikle 2. grupta hiçbir yan etki gözlenmedi. Literatürde TP tedavisinde topikal antiperspirantlann önemini bildiren sınırlı çalışmalar vardır. Ancak topikal antifungal tedavi ile kombine edilen hiçbir çalışmaya rastlayamadık. Kombine tedavinin üstünlüğünü gözlemedik. Daha fazla hasta sayısı ve homojen bir hasta grubu ile yapılan benzer çalışmanın daha anlamlı sonuçlar vereceği kanısındayız.

Forty patients who have been diagnosed as interdigital type Tinea Pedis (TP) at the dermatology department of Ondokuz Mayıs University Medical Faculty included in this study. Effectiveness of the combination of clotrimasol plus Aluminium Hydroxycloride (AHC) and clotrimasol plus placebo has been compared in two patient groups. This study has been performed as double blind, placebo controlled and the patients have been randomly divided into two groups. in both groups, patients have applied clotrimasol cream in the morning. in the evening, first group has applied placebo cream, second group AHC cream. 'The patients have been evaluated for the age, sex, duration of the disease, previous therapies, mycological investigations that have been performed before and after therapy, symptoms, all and target lesion findings and side effects. At the end of the therapy decreasing of the symptoms in the second group were higher than the first group (p<0.001). At the end of the 4.week all and target lesion findings, KOH preparations and fungal culture results were not statistically different between groups (p>0.05). During the therapy, especially in the second group, we have not observed irritation and any side effect. There is limited data that have implicated the importance of topical antiperspirants for the treatment of TP in the literature. But we couldn't find any study combining topical antifungals and antiperspirants. We didn't observe the superiority of combination therapy. We believe that similar studies with more patients and homogenous patient groups will give more meaningful results
