Arapça’nın fonetik yapısıyla ilgili bu makalede, ilk dönem Arap dilcilerinden el-Halîl b. Ahmed el-Ferâhîdî’in seslerle ilgili çalışmaları ele alınmakta, onun bu ilmin uzmanı ve bu alanda kendisinden sonra gelen dilcilerin örnek alarak kay-nak gösterdiği bir önder olduğu ortaya konulmaktadır.

This article examines the thoughts of phoneme of al-Khalil b. Ahmad al-Farahidi who is the early Arabic linguisticians. In this context, it first elaborates the origins (outlet, channel) of the words, their features, and their relations with each other in terms of harmonious or inharmonious based on the work of al-Ayn belonged to al-Khalil, secondly, it compares the thoughts of al-Khalil with the thoughts of those who came after him. It concludes that al-Khalil is the first master scholar in this field, and he has become a basic source for those who followed him in this era.
