Aestheticism of Avant-Garde Poetry

This study discusses stylistic system in the criticism of avant-garde poetry in two ways, theoretical and practical the former handles such concepts as “style” and “stylism” in western and Arabic literature, explains Charles Bally’s text-oriented “association” stylism Sebetser’s “individual creativity”, which deals with the relationship between text and creator (writer), and stylism of Retater, who gives the reader significant role in reading. After that, it reveals importance of statistical trends in stylistic research. The latter practical part examines the reading style called “role of time in the imposition of meaning”, found in the Diwan of Mohammed al- Fayturi, the Sudanese poet, and its reflection onto his poems in the Diwan and his poesy.
