Tel erozyonda kesme parametrelerinin ilerleme hızına etkisi

Bu çalışmada, tel erozyon ile kesmede kesme parametrelerinin ilerleme (kesme) hızı üzerine etkisi deneysel olarak araştırıldı. Deneyler, farklı puls süresi, açık devre gerilimi, tel ilerleme hızı ve dielektrik sıvı püskürtme basıncı kullanılarak yapıldı. Deneylerde tel olarak 0.25 mm çapında pirinç ve iş parçası olarak 10 mm kalınlığında 4140 çeliği kullanıldı. Yapılan çalışma sonucunda, puls süresinin, açık devre geriliminin, tel ilerleme hızının ve dielektrik sıvı püskürtme basıncının artması ile ilerleme hızının arttığı belirlendi. Ayrıca, ilerleme hızı ve iş parçası yüzey pürüzlülüğü arasındaki ilişkiler incelendi.

In this study, effect of the cutting parameters on the machining rate was experimentally investigated in Wire Electrical Discharge Machine (WEDM). The experiments were conducted at different pulse time, open circuit voltage, wire speed and dielectric flushing pressure by using factorial experimental design. Brass wire tool with 0.25 mm diameter and SAE 4140 steel workpiece material with 10 mm thickness were used in the experiments. It is found experimentally that the increasing pulse time, open circuit voltage, wire speed and dielectric flushing pressure increase the machining speed. The relation between the machining speed and surface roughness is investigated.
