Akışkan-mikroelektromekanik sistemler

Akışkan akışını içeren mikroelektromekanik sistemler (MEMS) sağlık bilimlerinden uzay araştırmalarına uygulamalarının hızla artmasıyla günümüze meydan okumaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı bu özel sayı okuyucularının mikrokanallardaki taşınım ısı geçişi için teorik ve deneysel araştırmalarla ilgilenmeden önce akışkan akışını içeren MEMS'lerle ilgili bilgilendirilmesini sağlamaktır. Mikro-ısı değiştiricileri, mikropompalar. mikrotürbinler, mikro-ısı boruları, mikro-kriyojenik-soğutucular ve absorpsiyonlu ısı pompaları akışkan-MEMS'lerle ilgili tasarım değişkenlerini anlamayı sağlamak için bu çalışmada tartışılan örneklerdir.

Fluidic-microelectromechanical systems

The microelectromechanical (MEMS) systems including fluid flow have been challenging with increasing range of applications from the health sciences to the space explorations. The attempt of this study is to provide an introduction for the readers of the special issue about MEMS including fluid flow before dealing with the theoretical and experimental researches for convective heat transfer in microchannels. Micro-heat exchangers, micropumps, microturbines, micro-heat pipes, micro-cryocooler and absorption heat pumps are examples discussed in this study to provide insight into design parameters relevantto fluidic-MEMS.
