Günümüzde muhasebe işlemleri bilgi teknolojilerinden faydalanılarak yapılmaktadır. Bilgi teknolojileri aracılığı ile muhasebe işlemleri, kolaylıkla kayıtlanmakta, sınıflandırılmakta, özetlenmekte, analiz edilmekte, yorumlanmakta ve raporlanmaktadır. Muhasebe işlemlerinde bilgi teknolojilerinin kullanımı muhasebenin söz konusu fonksiyonlarını yerine getirmede büyük bir kolaylık ve hız sağlamaktadır. Bununla birlikte muhasebenin bu fonksiyonlarını yerine getirmede muhasebe paket programlarının etkisi yadsınamaz. Bu nedenle işletmelerin bir çoğunun muhasebe paket programlarını kullanmaları bir zorunluluk haline geldiği gibi bu programları kullanmasını bilen eleman ihtiyaçları da artmıştır. Bu bağlamda üniversitelerde muhasebe paket programlarını kullanmasını bilen öğrencilerin yetişmesi konusu da önem kazanmıştır. Bu makalede de Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi ile Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi’ne bağlı Meslek Yüksek Okullarında öğrenim gören öğrencilerin Bilgisayarlı Muhasebe Dersine bakış açıları değerlendirilmektedir.

That is why, it is necessary for businesses to use accounting software package programmes and to employ personnels who can use these programmes actively.
