Öğrencilerin Okul Başarılarını Etkileyen Çeşitli Faktörlerin İncelenmesi

Öğrencinin ait olduğu sosyo ekonomik düzey, anne ve babanın öğrenim durumu öğrenciye sunulan eğitim öğretim imkanlarında farklılıklar oluşturarak öğrencinin okul başarısını etkilemektedir. Bu çalışmada sözkonusu unsurların etkisini incelemek amacıyla, ilköğretim dördüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin Türkçe ve Matematik derslerine ait başarıları ölçülmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla Ankara'da, 16 ilköğretim okulunda 1181 öğrenciye Türkçe ve Matematik derslerinde başarı testleri uygulanmıştır. Anne ve baba öğrenim durumunun öğrenci başarısında oldukça etkili olması, araştırmanın dikkat çeken bulgularındandır.

The Examination of Various Factors Affecting Students' School Success

Students’ socioeconomic level and the level of education of students’ father and mother affect students’ success by creating differences in the opportunity presented to the student. In this study, we tried to measure the success of forth grade students in primary schools in Turkish and maths with the aim of examining these factors under considerstion. In 16 primary schools in Ankara, Turkish and maths achievement tests were given to 1181 students. That fathers’ and mothers’ level of education is rather effective in students’ success is one of the outstanding findings of the study.
