Eğitim Perspektifinden Avrupa Birliğinde Değişim

Küreselleşen bir dünyada, bilgi toplumun gereklerini yerine getiremeyen toplumlar, sosyo-ekonomik sorunların sebep olacağı siyasi problemlerle karşı karşıya kalacaklardır. Bu gerçeğin farkında olan Avrupa Birliği üye devletleri, vatandaşlarının hayat standartlarını arttırmak ve sosyal bütünleşmelerini sağlamak amacıyla, eğitimi Birliğin öncelikli politikalarından biri olarak kabul etmiştir. Avrupa Birliğini kuran anlaşmalarda eğitimden hiç bahsedilmemesine rağmen, Maastricht Anlaşması’nda eğitime vurgu yapan Avrupa Birliği; Lizbon Deklarasyonu’yla açıkladığı dünyanın en rekabetçi, dinamik ve bilgi tabanlı ekonomisi olma hedefini gerçekleştirebilmek için eğitimi, hassas ve ciddi bir faktör olarak kabul etmiştir. Bu çalışmada; değişimin değişmeyen tek kavram olduğu dünyamızda, Avrupa Birliğinin geçirdiği bu değişim süreci eğitim perspektifinden açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır.

Education in European Union from the Educational Perspective

In a globalising world, the societies who couldn’t carry out the necessities of the knowledge society will face with the political problems resulting from the socio-economic issues. The member countries of the European Union being aware of this fact have accepted the education as one of the primary policies in order to raise the standard of living and social cohesion of the citizens of the Union. Although European Union did not mention about education in the founding treaties, the Union emphasising to education in the Maastricht Treaty accepted as a delicate and critical factor in order to be able to realize the strategic goal of being the most competitive, dynamic and knowledge based economy. The aim of this study is to explain the change Europe has lived from the educational point of view in the world which the change is the sole unchanging concept in.
