Bu araştırmada, din, tecdid ve reform kavramları incelenmiştir. Din kavramının anlam çerçevesi çizilmeye çalışılmış; ardından, ed-Din olarak İslâm’ın farkı belirlenmiştir. Yazıda, tecdidin vahiyle irtibatı konu edilmiş, değişim yöntemi olarak reformdan farkı açıklanmıştır. Konu bağlamında, maslahat kavramı, ertelenemez öneme sahip görülerek değerlendirilmiştir. Ayrıca reform, üzerinde geliştiği özgün ortamıyla birlikte tanınmaya çalışılmıştır. Yazıda, dinsel ırkçılık konusuna değininin ardından, millî bir din arayışı olarak ‘Türk Müslümanlığı’ diye bilinen paradigmanın İslâmiliği imkânı sorgulanmıştır. Bu tür arayışların tecdidî bir çabadan ziyade mistik ve fakat modern döneme ait reform karakterli talepler olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.

In this article, the concepts of religion, tajdid (renovation) and reform are investigated. The conceptual frame of religion is depicted and then specified of Islam as ed-Din. The connection of tajdid with revelation is treated and explained its differentiation from reformation which a method of change. Within the context of matter, the notion of maslaha that has an irrecusable significance is evaluated. Also, reformation is handled with in the frame of its own distinctive ambience. After touching of religious racism, “Turkish Muslim” paradigm as a pursuit to a national religion is defined and the possibility of its Islamicity is questioned. At the end it is concluded that such as seekings are deals with mystic expectation and also requests that having reformist character belongs to modern age.
