KARİYER PSİKOLOJİK DANIŞMANLIĞI ÖZ–YETERLİK ÖLÇEĞİ TÜRKÇE FORMU: GEÇERLİK VE GÜVENİRLİK ÇALIŞMASI

Bu çalışmanın amacı, O’Brien, Heppner, Flores ve Bikos (1997) tarafından geliştirilen Kariyer Psikolojik Danışmanlığı Öz- Yeterlik Ölçeğini Türkçe’ye uyarlamak, geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmalarını gerçekleştirmektir. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi (DFA) bulgularına dayalı olarak bazı maddelere ait hatalar ilişkilendirilmiş ve önerilerin uygulanması sonucunda dört faktörlü yapının doğrulandığı görülmüştür. Ölçeğe ilişkin uyum geçerliği çalışması kapsamında, Lent ve ark., (2003) tarafından geliştirilen Psikolojik Danışma Öz- Yeterlik Ölçeği’nden yararlanılmıştır. Psikolojik danışmanların yeterlik algılarını konu alan iki ölçek arasında anlamlı ilişkiler kariyer psikolojik danışmanlığı öz-yeterlik ölçeğinin geçerliğini destekler nitelikledir. Ölçeğin, iç tutarlılık katsayısı terapötik süreç ve iş birliği becerileri alt ölçeği için .86, mesleki değerlendirme ve yorum yapma becerileri alt ölçeği için .90, çok kültürlü danışmanlığa yönelik yeterlik alt ölçeği için .84 ve iş dünyasındaki güncel eğilimler, etik ve kariyer araştırması alt ölçeği için .67’dir. Ölçeğin bütünü için iç tutarlılık katsayısı .93’tür. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgular, tüm faktörler için hesaplanan iç tutarlık katsayılarının yeterli düzeyde ve orijinal çalışmadaki iç tutarlık katsayıları ile benzer olduğunu göstermektedir.

CAREER COUNSELING SELF-EFFICACY SCALE TURKISH FORM: VALIDITY AND RELIABILITY STUDY

The purpose of the current study is to adapt the Career Counseling Self-Efficacy Scale developed by O'Brien, Heppner, Flores, and Bikos (1997) into Turkish and conduct validity and reliability studies. Based on the confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) findings, the errors of some items were linked; hence, the four-factor structure of the scale was confirmed as a result of the followed recommendations. The Counselor Activity Self-Efficacy Scales developed by Lent et al. (2003) was used to carry out the scale's concurrent validity. The significant and estimated relationships between the two scales about psychological counselors' efficacy support the career counseling self-efficacy scale's validity. The internal consistency coefficient was .86 for the therapeutic process and collaboration skills subscale .90, for the professional assessment and interpretation skills subscale .84, for the competence subscale for multicultural counseling, and current trends in business, ethics, and career research sub-scale .67. The internal consistency coefficient for all items is .93. The findings of the study revealed that the internal consistency coefficients of the factors are sufficient and similar to the internal consistency coefficients reported in the original study.
