The effect of propensity to trust on perceived organizational support

Propensity to trust is considered as an antecedent of trust. However there are limited studies regarding propensity to trust and mostly its moderating effect has been explored. Perceived organizational support has been found to have strong effects on important outcomes such as organizational commitment and job satisfaction. This study investigates the direct effect of propensity to trust on perceived organizational support. Data were collected from 300 employees. Results revealed a positive and significant relationship between these two variables.
