MISIR EYALETİNİN TEŞKİLİ DÖNEMİNDE İKİ BEYLERBEYİ SORUŞTURMASI
XVI. asır ortalarında devletin güç ve iktidarının zirvede olduğu, bürokrasinin yerleşmiş, hak hukuk kavramlarının Batılı gözlemcilerin bile hayranlığını çektiği bir dönemde mali uygulamalara yönelik tahkikatlar bir çok bakımdan değerlendirilmeğe layık niteliktedir. Bu tür olayların o asırda nâdir olmadığı, değişik örneklerinin bulunduğu bilinmelidir. Başka mevzular bir tarafa sadece Mısır eyalet gelirlerinin tahsili ve yerli yerinde sarf edilmesi, irsaliyesinin gönderilmesi mevzuunda bile o asırda kaç tane tahkikat bulunmaktadır. Bu tahkikat devlet bürokrasisinin işleyişi, takibi ve gösterilen hassasiyet bakımından dikkat çekicidir.

Aspects of investigations of financial enforcement in the middle of the sixteenth century, a period in which the Ottoman state power reached its peak and the bureaucracy has already established and Western observers admired the concepts of law and rights, are worth to be reviewed. It must be noted that wide range of cases was not rare at that time. What is more, there were countless investigations of income collection, proper spending, sending of the delivery note in Ottoman Egypt. This investigation draws attention to functioning, tracking, and sensibility of the state bureaucracy.
