BREXIT SONRASINDA MERKEZİ VE DOĞU AVRUPA’YI YENİDEN DÜŞÜNMEK

Bu çalışmada Vişegrad ülkelerinin Brexit sonrası artan endişeleri,geliştirilen alternatifler ve bunların Avrupa bütünleşmesi tartışmasına nasılyansıdığı ele alınmaktadır. Bu bağlamda, İngiltere’nin dengeleyici rolününortadan kalkması sonrasında Vişegrad ülkelerinin özellikle AB içinde etkisiartan Almanya’ya karşı olan bakışı değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada,Vişegrad Grubu içinde oluşan AB karşıtı algıda, Almanya’nın AvrupaPolitikasının zayıf ve belirsiz yönleri de ele alınmaktadır. Bu şekilde de Brexitsonrasında Avrupa geleceği için Almanya ve söz konusu ülkeler arası işbirliğigeliştirilmesinin önemi ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır.

RETHINKING CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPE AFTER BREXIT

In this study, increasing concerns of Visegrad countries’ and newalternatives after Brexit and the reflection of these concerns on the discussionsof European integration are dealed with. In this context, Visegrad countries’approach to Germany and its increasing influence especially after vanishing ofUnited Kingdom’s stabilizing role in the EU is revealed. It is also discussed therole of Germany’s weak and misty EU policy’s effect on the anti-EU perception of Visegrad countries. Consequently, it is underlined how important it is to improve cooperation between Germany and these countries after Brexit for the future of EU.
