Sınıf Öğretmenliği Ve Fen Bilgisi Öğrencilerinin Fen (Bilimlerin)’e Yönelik Tutumları

The aim of this research is to determine the attitudes of the students towards science.In this study, the sample consisted of the students attending Primary School Teaching andScience Programs of Buca Faculty of Education at Dokuz Eylül University. 103 students insenior groups are included in the sample. 57.3% of the students were females and 42.7% weremales. To collect the data for the research, "Scale for Attitudes Towards Science", thereliability of which was provided by Gürdal (1997), and "Personal Information Form" wereadministered to the sample. To analyze the data, ANOVA (F), t and Scheffe tests werecarried out and analyses were done with the SPSS-10.0 program. Some characteristics of thestudents and the differences in their attitudes towards science were discussed based on theresults of the research.Key Words: Attitudes towards science, Prospective teacher, Primary school teaching,Science.
