“Globus Histerikus Tanılı Hastaların Polisomnografi ile Değerlendirilmesi”

Amaç: Bu araştırma; globus histerikus tanılı hastaların polisomnografi ile uyku yapılarını incelemek ve hastalığın ayırıcı tanısında yada etiyolojiside obstrüktif sleep apne OSA varlığını araştırmak için tasarlanmıştır. Yöntem: Çalışmaya “Globus Histerikus” tanılı ve globus yakınmasına yol açabilecek altta yatan bir hastalığı olmadığı bilinen 9 erişkin ≥18 yaş hasta alınmıştır. Tüm hastalar detaylı sorgulanmış, muayene edilmiş ve solunum fonksiyon testi ile spirometrik inceleme yapılarak üst solunum yolu obstrüktif patolojileri açısından akım-volüm halkası ile değerlendirilmiştir. Polisomnografi öncesi, uykuyla ilgili yakınmaları sorgulanmıştır. “Evaluation of Patients with Globus Hystericus with Polisomnography”

Aim: Aim of this study is to investigate the sleep architecture and the role of obstructive sleep apnea OSA in the etiology and differential diagnosis of globus hystericus patients with polisomnography. Material and method: Nine adult patients > 18 years with the diagnosis of globus hystericus and without any known complaints related to underlying diseases were included to the study. All the patients were examined with detailed history taking. Spirometric lung function tests were made and were evaluated with flow volume curves to exclude upper airways obstruction.
