TÜRKİYE'DE NEOTROCHOLİNA ZUHURATI HAKKINDA

Türkiye'nin kuzeydoğusunda K. Nebert ve Bursa bölgesinde de M. Çetinçelik tarafından toplanan numunelerin incelenmesi sırasında, ilk defa İsviçre'de Üst Jurasik ve Alt Kretase tabakalarında görülen (M. Reichel, 1955) Neotrocholina genusu spesimenlerine raslanmıştır. Türkiye'de Neotrocholina'dan ilk defa bahsedildiği için, bu genusun coğrafi dağılışı hakkında fikir vermek faydalı olacaktır. Yazar, bu makalenin hazırlanıp yayınlanmasına izin verdikleri için, M.T.A. Enstitüsü idarecilerine ve numunelerini materyel olarak kullanabildiği için de Dr. K. Nebert ve Bay M. Çetinçelik'e teşekkür eder.

ON THE OCCURRENCE OF NEOTROCHOLINA IN TURKEY

During the examination of samples collected by K. Nebert in NE Turkey and by M. Çetinçelik in the region of Bursa, specimens of the genus Neotrocholina were encountered, which was described first from the Upper Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous strata in Switzerland (M. Reichel, 1955). Inasmuch it is the first time that Neotrocholina is mentioned from Turkey, it should be useful for a better understanding of the geographical repartition of this genus. The author wishes to express his thanks to the direction of the M.T.A. Institute for their permission to prepare and publish this paper and to Dr. K. Nebert and Mr. M. Çetinçelik, whose samples provide the material.
