MUĞLA-TINAS LİNYİT ARAŞTIRMALARINDA İNDÜKLEM POLARİZASYON YÖNTEMİ

Bu çalışma Muğla-Tmas linyit sahasında, yapılmış ya da yapılması planlanmış mekanik sondaj noktaları üzerinde yapılan deneysel nitelikteki zaman ortamı indüklem polarizasyon (I.P.) sondaj sonuçlarım kapsamaktadır. Dar bir graben sahasındaki Neojen çökelleri üzerinde, Schlumberger elektrot dizilimi ile yapılan I.P. sondajlarıyle bu ortamda yer alan farklı elektrik özelliklere sahip formasyonların derinlik ve kalınlıklarının saptanmasında I.P. yönteminin uygulanabilirliği araştırılmıştır. I.P. sondajlarının nicelik yönünden değerlendirilmelerinde, hayalî özdirenç eğrisi ve beraberindeki özdirenç saha eğrisi birlikte ele alınarak yüklenebilirlik değerleri elde edilmiştir. Bu değerlendirmelerin sonuçlarıyle araştırma sahasında yapılan mekanik sondajlardan elde edilen bilgiler çok iyi bir uyum göstermiş, genellikle, linyitli serinin küçük yüklenebilirlik değerleriyle çevresindeki formasyonlardan ayırt edilebildiği ve yöntemin linyit aramalarında kullanılmasının yararlı olacağı sonucuna varılmıştır.

INDUCED POLARIZATION METHOD ON LIGNITE PROSPECTION OF MUĞLA-TINAS

This paper presents the results of experimental time-domain induced polarization (I.P.) soundings carried out on drilling sights in the Muğla-Tınas lignite field. The applicability of I.P. method was investigated by using Schlumberger vertical electrical sounding technique on Neogen sediments in a narrow graben region to obtain thickness and depths of the formations which have different electrical properties. In order to interpret the I.P. soundings quantitatively the chargeability values were obtained using fictitious resistivity curves and the resistivity field curves together. The quantitative interpretation of the soundings generally corresponded very well with data from holes which were drilled prior or after I.P. soundings in the area under investigation and it has been concluded that seperation of the lignite series from surrounding formations was possible by their small chargeability values and that the use of this method for lignite investigation could be useful.
