Süt İneklerinde Beslenmenin Döl Verimine Etkisi

Yavru verimi çiftlik hayvancılığında sürdürülebilir hayvancılığa doğrudan etkisi sebebiyle gıda üretimi kadar önemli bir yere sahiptir. Beslenme hemen hemen tüm vücut sistemlerini etkilemektedir ve bu etki üreme performansı üzerine oldukça fazladır. Sığırlardan her yıl bir buzağı elde etmek ve bu buzağının sağlıklı bir şekilde büyümesi ve üremesi için ineğin doğum yaptıktan sonra fötüsun oluşumu, gelişimi ve problemsiz bir doğum için annenin yeterli ve dengeli beslenmesi gerekmektedir. Yüksek süt verimi isteği sebebiyle negatif enerji balansı üzerine derin etki süt ineklerinde östrus siklusunun oluşmamasına, düzensiz olmasına veya gecikmesine sebep olmaktadır. Enerji ve protein gibi makro besin maddeleri yanında bir epitelizasyon süreci olan oogenez üzerine mineral ve vitaminlerin etkisi de araştırmalar sonucunda ortaya koyulmuştur. Annenin hormonal yapısı ve enfeksiyöz etkenlerle mücadele için kullandığı bağışıklık sistemi de geçiş dönemi dediğimiz doğum öncesi ve sonrası dönemde besleme uygulamaları ile artırılabilmektedir. Embriyonun olgunlaşıp gelişeceği uterus ortamının ve besin madde geçişlerinin dengeli beslenme ile sağlanacağı ve dolayısı ile erken embriyonik ölümler ile atıkların önlenebileceği ortaya konmuştur. Anne karnındaki fötusun gelişimi parabolik seyretmekte ve gebeliğin son trimesterinde doğum ağırlığının yaklaşık %70’ini kazanmaktadır. Bu dönem kuruya çıkarma ve kuru dönemi kapsadığından üreticiler yem ve dolayısı ile besin madde kısıtlamaları yapmakta bu da artan besin madde ihtiyacını karşılamakta yetersiz kalmaktadır. İneğin beslenmesinin buzağının doğum ağırlığı üzerine etkisi gözlenmekte ve doğum ağırlığı ile buzağının yaşama gücü arasında olumlu etki ortaya koyulmaktadır. İneklerin iki buzağılama arasındaki değişik fizyolojik dönemlerine uygun beslenmemesi süt humması veya doğum felci, yavru zarlarının atılamaması, uterus ve meme enfeksiyonları ile anöstrus ve ketozis gibi üreme performansını etkileyen metabolik problemlere yol açmaktadır. Güç doğumun sebeplerinden biri de doğuma yakın dönemde özellikle kalsiyum ve enerji gibi kas hareketlerini etkileyen besin maddelerinin eksikliğidir. Besin maddelerinin dengelenmesi yanısıra yemlerin fiziksel formları ve sunum yöntemleri de üreme performansını etkilemektedir. Sonuç olarak buzağı kayıplarını en aza indirmek, ineklerin sağlıklı bir şekilde döl verimlerini temin etmek, yaşamları boyunca reprodüktif problemlerden dolayı sürüden ayıklanmalarının önüne geçmek ve laktasyon sayılarını-yani ürettikleri buzağı sayısını-artırmak yeterli ve dengeli beslenmeleri ile mümkün olabilecektir.
