Kıvrımdan Caricata'ya / 18. yüzyıl İngiliz ressamlarının (Hogarth, Reynolds ve Blake'in) güzel anlayışları üzerine bir deneme

Deleuze'ün Barok dönemin ruhunu temsil ettiğine inandığı 'kıvrım' ın 18.yüzyıl İngiltere'sinde romantik anlayışa sahip ressamların güzel anlayışlarında izini sürme denemesi olan bu çalışma söz konusu dönemin ressamlarından Reynolds ve Hogarth arasındaki görüş ayrılıklarını Blake'in bir yorumu üzerinden anlamayı hedefler.

From fold to Caricata /An essay on the conceptions of beauty of 18th century English pianters (Hogarth, Reynods and Blake)

This study which is an attempt to pursue the traces of 'fold' -that reflects the spirit of the Baroque Period according to Deleuze- in the conceptions of beauty for the romantic painters of 18th Century England. Further, the controversies between the painters of the age, namely Reynolds and Hogarth, are tried to be comprehended through the interpretations of Blake.
