JACQUES ELLUL'ÜN DÜŞÜNCESİNDE FELSEFİ BİR PROBLEM OLARAK TEKNİK

Bu makalenin amacı Jacques Ellul'ün teknik eleştirisini "özerklik" ve "sistem" kavramları üzerinden giderek serimlemek ve bu eleştirinin Fransız filozofun düşüncesindeki teolojik doğasını soruşturmaktır. Ellul'ün gözünde günümüz dünyasının temel düşünsel sorunu olan tekniğin yaratmış olduğu kısır döngünün dışına çıkmak yalnızca kutsal duygusunun yeniden sahih bir şekilde tesis edilmesi ile mümkün olabilir. Ellul'ün düşüncesini tekniğin çağdaş tahakkümünün aşılması çabasına yönelik en önemli felsefi teşebbüslerden biri olarak değerlendirmek mümkündür.

TECHNIQUE AS A PHILOSOPHICAL PROBLEM IN JACQUES ELLUL'S THOUGHT

The aim of this article is, firstly, to expose Jacques Ellul's critique of technique through his concepts of "autonomy" and "system"; and secondly, to investigate the theological nature of French philosopher's critical approach. Ellul argues that the only way to get out of the vicious circle of technique, the main philosophical question of our time from his point of view, is to reestablish the feeling of the sacred in an authentic manner. Ellul's thought can be considered as one of the most important philosophical attempts to overcome the contemporary domination of technique.
