Geçtiğimiz asır, saltanattan cumhuriyet rejimine geçişte sosyal ve siyasal alanda pek çok değişime şahit olmuştur. Modernleşme sürecinin merkezde olduğu bu devrin dinî eğitim ve öğretim konusunda da etkisinin olduğu bilinmektedir. Bu dönemde yapılan çalışmalar daha geniş kitlenin istifadesi amaçlandığından dolayı belli periyotta yayınlanan dergilerde ortaya konulmuştur. Cumhuriyet dönemi düşünce ve tartışmalarını ihtiva eden 1908-2010 yılları arasında yayımlanmış bu dergi ve kitaplar 2013 yılında İlmi Etüdler Derneği (İLEM) tarafından İslamcı Dergiler Projesi (İDP) adıyla dijital ortama aktarılıp kataloglandırmaya başlanmıştır. Teorik olarak hazırlanan akademik çalışmaların yanısıra bu dergilerin daha çok hayatın içinden beslenmesi dikkat çekmektedir. İslamcı dergilerin zamanla akademik çalışmalara da veri sunması bu alanda araştırma yapacak kimseler için önemli bir alan haline gelmesini sağlamıştır. Bu bakımdan kuruluşundan günümüz Türkiye’sine kadar hadis alanında kaleme alınan çalışmaları tanıtan İslamcı Dergilerde Hadis Tartışmaları, Meseleler, Dönemler ve İsimler başlığıyla gün yüzüne çıkarılan eser, bu dergileri tanıtmanın yanı sıra yapılması gerekli görülen belli çalışmalara da değinmiştir.

The past century has witnessed many changes in the social and political fields during the transition from the sultanate to the republican regime. It is known that this period, in which the modernization process was at the center, also had an impact on religious education and training. The studies carried out in this period were put forward in journals published in a certain period, since it was aimed to benefit from a wider audience. These journals and books, which were published between 1908 and 2010, containing the ideas and discussions of the Republican period, were transferred to digital media and cataloged by the Scientific Studies Association (ILEM) in 2013 under the name of Islamist Journals Project (IDP). In addition to theoretical academic studies, it is noteworthy that these journals are fed more from life. The fact that Islamist journals have also provided data to academic studies over time has made it an important field for those who will do research in this field. In this respect, the work, which was brought to light with the title of Hadith Discussions, Issues, Periods and Names in Islamist Journals, which introduced the studies written in the field of hadith from its establishment to today's Turkey, also touched on certain studies that were deemed necessary to be done in addition to introducing these journals.
