Güçlü iyon farkı ve uçucu olmayan zayıf asitlerin toplam konsantrasyonu değerlerinin hesaplanması ile sağlıklı sığırlarda kolaylaştırılmış güçlü iyon modeline yaklaşımlar

Bu çalışmanın ilk amacı sağlıklı sığır plazmasında kinik olarak geçerli [[SID+] ve [A_{tot}] değerlerini hesaplamaktı. İkinci amaç, kan gazları cihazı ile ölçülen pH ve kolaylaştırılmış strong iyon teorisine göre hesaplanan pH değerlerini karşılaştırmaktı. Çalışmada 10 adet sağlıklı montofon melezi sığır kullanıldı. Hayvanların vena jugularislerinden uygun şekilde kan gazı ve serum biyokimya analizleri için yeterli oranda kan alındı. Heparinli kan örneklerinde pH, pCO_2, ve HCO_3 değerleri belirlendi. Elde edilen plazmalarda ise total protein, albumin, Na, K ve Cl konsantrasyonları belirlendi. [SID+], [A_{tot}] ve pH değerleri Constable ve Tanford'a.göre hesaplandı. Çalışmanın sonucunda, sağlıklı sığırlar için ölçülen [SID+] değeri ortalama 45±2.6 mEq/L idi. Ortalama Na, K ve Cl konsantrasyonları sırasıyla 138.5±62.4 mmol/L, 4.6±0.4 mmol/L ve 98.1±13.4 mmol/L bulundu. Sığır plazmasındaki ortalama total protein 7.7+0.3 g/dl ve albumin 3.9±0.4 g/dl olarak bulundu. [Atot] ve total protein değerinden hesaplanan [A_{tot}] sabitesi sırasıyla 17.5±1.6 mEq/L ve 2.27±0.17 mEq/L hesaplandı. Ölçülen (7.40±0.03) ve hesaplanan (8.28±0.47) ortalama pH değerleri birbirinden belirgin olarak farklı olmasına rağmen, bu çalışmada klinik olarak sağlıklı sığırlarda ölçülen [SID^+], [A_{tot}] ve [A_{tot}] sabitesi değerleri, diğer invivo çalışmalardaki sonuçlar ile benzerdi. Bu hesaplanan değerlerin klinik uygulamalarının evcil hayvanların asit-baz bozukluklarında yeni bir bakış açısı oluşturacağı düşüncesine varıldı.

Approaches to the simplified strong ıon model on the basis of measured strong ıon difference and nonvolatile weak acids concentrations of healthy cattle

The first aim of this study was to calculate clinically accurate values for measured [SID^+] and [Atot] for healthy bovine plasma. The second aim was to compare measured pH with blood gas analyser and pH calculated according to the simplified strong ion theory. Ten clinically healthy Swiss Brown cattle were used in this study. Jugular venous blood samples were drawn from each animal for blood gas and plasma biochemical analyses. pH, pCO_2 and HCO_3 performed in heparinised blood samples. Total protein, albumin, Na, K and Cl concentrations were determined in harwested plasma. {SID*], [Atot] and pH values were calculated according to Constable and Tanford. In result of this study, for clinically healthy bovine measured [SID*] was mean 45±2.6 mEq/L. Mean Na, K and Cl concentrations were found as 138.5±62.4 mmol/L, 4.6±0.4 mmol/L, 98.1±13.4 mmol/L respectively. The mean total protein was 7.7±0.3 g/dl and albumin was 3.9±0.4 g/dl in bovine plasma. The [A_{tot}] and [A_{tot}] constant were calculated from total protein as mean 17.5+1.6 mEq/L and 2.27+0.17 mEq/L respectively. Although, calculated mean pH values (8.28±0.47) was signifcantly different than measured mean pH values (7.40±0.03), calculated values for [SID+], [A_{tot}] and [A_{tot}] constant were similar with results in other iinvivo studies. We supposed that clinical aplication of this calculated values would provide a novel insight to the acid-base disorders in domestic animals.
