Evcil hayvanlarda neosporosis

Neosporosis in domestic animals

Neospora species recognised recently has been classified as Apicomplexa parasite. It can cause fatal neurological disorders and abort in dogs and cattle. The causative organisms were seen rarely in sheep, goats, horses and deer. There is no study and article about this subject in Turkey. So, in this article, it has been given some informations about their histories, morphology, life-cycle, routes of contamination, distribution, clinical sings, diagnosis, histhopathology, treatment and prevention methods.
