Güven Aralığı

Güven aralığı karşılaştırılan gruplar arasında ortalama veya orantılar arasında farkın istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olupolmadığını değerlendirmeyi sağlayan bir ölçüttür. Güven aralığı bulunan sonucun şansa bağlı olup olmadığını gösterdiğigibi örnek büyüklüğü hakkında bilgi verir. Güven aralığı geniş ise örnek büyüklüğü yeterli, güven aralığı geniş ise örnekbüyüklüğü küçük olarak yorumlanır.

Confidence Interval

Confidence interval is a measure that provides to evaluate the difference between the means or proportions ofcompared groups is statistically significant. Confidence interval, which provides information whether the result is due tochance, also gives information about sample size. If the confidence interval is narrow that means sample size is largeenough, and if the confidence interval is large than it is interpreted, as a sample size is small.
