Operasyon sonrası hastanede bakıma alınan kedilerde Serratia marcescens ve Acinetobacter calcoacetıcus'un neden olduğu bir hastane infeksiyonu

İstanbul'da bir Hayvan Hastanesinde birkaç gün aralıklarla kısırlaştırma operasyonu geçiren 10 kedide derialtı apselerin oluşması üzerine, bir kediden alınan apse akıntısı örneklerinden Serratia marcescens ve Acinetobacter calcoaceticus identifiye edildi. Bunun bir hastane infeksiyonu olduğu düşünüldü.

A nosocomial infection caused by Serratia marcescens and Acinetobacter calcoaceticus in the cats which are receving medical care after operations

Subcutan abcess occured in 10 cats which had ovario - histerectomy operations in animal hospital and Serratia marcescens and Acinetobacter calcoaceticus identified from pus specimen of a cat. It was considered a nosocomial infection.
