Kedi ve köpeklerde üriner sistem tümörlerinin tanı ve sağaltımı

Köpeklerde karsinom, kedilerde lenfom sık görülen böbrek tümörleridir. Hematüri, en belirgin klinik bulguyu oluşturur. Tek taraflı ve metastaz yapmamış böbrek tümörlerinin sağaltımında, nefrektomi uygulanır. İdrar kesesi ve üretra'da en çok, tranzisyonel hücre karsinomu görülür. Bu tümörler; hematüri ve disüri gibi klinik belirtilerle ortaya çıkarlar. İdrar kesesi tümörleri, kesenin kısmi rezeksiyonuyla, üretral tümörler, Uretral rezeksiyon ve ardından yapılan anastomozla sağaltılırlar. Bu derlemeyle; kedi ve köpeklerde görülen üriner sistem tümörlerinin erken tanısı ve sağaltım seçenekleri ele alınarak bunun, meslek pratiğine katkı sağlaması düşünülmüştür.

Diagnosis and treatment of urinary system tumours in cats and dogs

Frequently encountered kidney tumours are; carcinomas in dogs and lymphomas in cats. Haematuria presents the most prominent clinical finding. Nephrectomy is performed in the treatment of unilateral kidney tumours where metastasis has not yet occurred. Transitional cell carcinoma is the most frequently observed tumour of the urinary bladder and urethra. These tumours appear together with clinical findings such as; haematuria and dysuria. Tumours of the urinary bladder are treated with partial resection of the bladder, whereas urethral tumours are treated via urethral resection followed by anastomosis. This article reviews the early diagnosis and treatment options of urinary system tumours in cats and dogs in veterinary practice.
