Örnek o l s u n , Sözleşmeyi 1 6 / 0 2 / 1 9 8 2 t a r i h i n d e onaylayan Çekoslovakya, 0 1 / 0 1 / 1 9 9 3 t a r i h i n d e n i t i b a r e n Çek C u m h u r i y e t i ve Slovakya o l a r a k i k i ayrı Devlet h a l i n e gel miştir. Zaire ise 1 7 / 0 5 y i 9 9 7 t a r i h i n d e n i t i b a r e n Kongo D e m o k r a t i k C u m h u r i y e t i adını almıştır. Öte y a n d a , Sözleşmeyi Federal A l m a n C u m h u r i y e t i 1 0 / 0 7 / 1 9 8 5 ve D e m o k r a t i k A l m a n C u m h u r i y e t i ise 0 9 / 0 7 / 1 9 8 0 t a r i h l e r i n d e onaylamışlardı ve b u i k i Devlet 0 3 / 1 0 / 1 9 9 0 t a r i h i n d e n geçerli olacak şekilde birleşerek A l m a n y a adı altında t e k Devlet h a l i n e gelmiştir. B u n u n g i b i , d a h a önce D e m o k r a t i k Yemen ve Y e m e n adlı i k i ayrı Devlet v a r i k e n 2 2 / 0 5 / 1 9 9 0 ' d a n i t i b a r e n b u n l a r Yemen adı altında tek Devlet o l a r a k birleşmiştir. Yine e s k i Y u goslavya parçalanmış ve b u r a d a n Hırvatistan, B o s n a ve Hersek, Sırbistan ve Karadağ bağımsız Devletleri ortaya çıkmıştır.
