Performance Analysis of Storage, Grid Connected Hybrid Photovoltaic System

Photovoltaic solar energy plants are rapidly increasing. These systems are generally on-grid or off-grid photovoltaic systems. In this study, a hybrid system is realized and analyzed. This system contains feature of on-grid, storage and self-consumption unlike other studies and applications. This proposed system is located in Baunatal, Germany with an installed capacity of 9,82 kWp and generates approximately energy of 8,838 kWh/year. This system contains of 230 W Aleo solar panels, 6,400 Wh SMA Lithium-Ion battery, 9 kW SMA Sunny Tripower 9000TL intelligent inverter. The stored, grid-connected hybrid photovoltaic system works successfully. This system makes optimum use of solar energy. The energy balance for year of 2017 is shown in detail. According to the results, a total of 2718,97 kWh of energy has been drawn from the grid for 2017. The system consumed 1747.59 kWh for the battery charge, direct consumption of 2644.65 kWh and also generated over 4746.58 kWh of energy to the grid. For a period of 2 years, an economic gain of TL 21,983.50 was obtained. A fully hybrid system was implemented.
