Siyasi ve ekonomik özellikleri ile çok boyutlu ve uzun süreli bir proje olan BOP kapsamı içerisine çok sayıda devlet girmektedir. Devletlerin hepsinin de, ABD`nin enerji kaynaklarını kontrol altında tutmasına yönelik çıkarları ile örtüşen ülkeler olduğu dikkat çekicidir. ABD açısından projenin önemini; Ortadoğu`da enerji kaynaklarının denetiminin sağlanması, silah ticareti için yeni pazarların oluşturulması, İran`ın kontrol altına alınarak İsrail`in bölgedeki güvenliğinin sağlanması ve Rusya`ya karşı nüfuzun kaybedilmemesi meydana geitrmektedir. Bu amaçları ile proje; Ortadoğu`nun siyasi, ekonomik ve stratejik açıdan ABD`nin etkisi alanına girmesini öngören mekansal bir düzenlemeyi ifade etmektedir. G8 ve NATO gibi uluslararası örgütler, ABD merkezli çıkarları doğrultusunda hareket ederek projenin uygulanabilirliği üzerinde önemli rol oynamaktadırlar. G8 üyesi devletler, projenin siyasi ve sosyo-ekonomik gelişimi üzerinde etkili olurken; NATO ise proje kapsamında gerçekleştirilen askeri müdahaleler ve sonrasındaki güvenlik konularında ön planda olmaktadır.

So many states can be considered within the BOP frame which is a multidimensional and long term Project with its political and socio-economic features. It is noticeable that all of these states have overlapping benefits with USA's energy resources dominance. The importance of the Project in terms of U.S.A is constituted by; providing the inspection of energy resources in the Middle East,forming new markets for weapon trade, securing Israel in the region by controlling Iran and not losing the efficiency towards Russia. Project, with these aims expresses a spatial organization estimating The Middle East being under controll of USA in terms of political, financial and strategic features. It is clear that the Project applied with a claim of bringing democracy to the Middle east is actually based on supplying the energy resources with cheap and confidential ways. The developments in Iraq and Afganistan and the experiences along with the Arabic Spring are the proofs of this situation. International associations like G8 and NATO behave on behalf of the US benefits and they have significant roles over the applicabality of the Project. G8 member states are influential over the political and socio economic development of the Project whereas NATO is dominant at the security matters before and after the military operations that take place through the Project.
