Hava trafik kontrolörlüğü mesleğinin gerektirdiği nitelikler ve kontrolör görüşleri

Hava taşımacılığında hava trafik yönetiminin önemi ve hava trafik kontrolörlerinin rolü artmaktadır. Bu çalışmada hava trafik kontrolörlüğü mesleğinin gerektirdiği niteliklere ve kontrolörlerin bu niteliklere ilişkin bir anket aracılığıyla toplanan görüşlerine yer verilmiştir. Hava trafik kontrolörü olacak bireylerin, işin gerektirdiği niteliklere sahip bireyler arasından seçilmeleri gerekmektedir. Nitelikli kontrolör adayları ile gelecekteki gelişmiş hava trafik yönetimi performansı sağlanabilir. Bu nitelikler genel ve özel olmak üzere iki grupta toplanmıştır. Ayrıca Türkiye’nin hava trafik hacmi açısından en yoğun beş havalimanında çalışan kontrolörler bu nitelikleri derecelendirmişlerdir. Analizler sonucunda kontrolörler tüm nitelikleri önemli olarak görmektedir. Yaş ve deneyim ve çalışılan pozisyon değişkenleri açısından anlamlı sonuçlar elde edilmiştir.

The requirements for air traffic control job and controller thoughts

The importance of air traffic management and the role of air traffic controller has been increasing in air transportation. This study focuces on the qualifications which are needed for air traffic control job and collected data on the controller thoughts about these qualifications by giving a questionnaire. It is required that candidates who want to be an air traffic controller must be selected to comply with the qualifications. Advanced future air traffic management performance can be achieved by these qualified controller candidates. These requirements can be collected in two groups which are general and special requirements. In additon, the qualifications were scored by the controllers who are working at 5 major Turkish airports. Analysis of the results indicate that controllers give value to all the individual qualificaitons but the degree of evaluation differs depending on the age-experience and working position variables.
