Araştırmada 195 çiğ süt örneğinden 33 Bacillus izole edilerek adlandırması yapılmıştır. İzole edilen Bacillus'ların Listeria monocytogenes (680 x Lmonocytogenes 2167 type I) üzerine inhibitor etkileri çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla BHI besiyerine %2,%2.5,%3,%3.5,%4 oranlarında NaCl ve bir başka BHI besiyerine %2, %2.5, %3, %3.5, %4, %4.5 oranlannda glikoz ilave edilerek spot on the lawn yöntemi ile inhibitor etki değerlendirilmiştir. Tuz ve glikoz ilave edilmeyen kontrol BHI besiyerinde Bacillus türlerinin L.monocytogenes üzerine inhibitor etkisi gözlenememiştir. Artan tuz ve glikoz konsantrasyonlarında B.brevis, B.cereus, B.lentus, B.coagtilans, B.megaterium ,B.mycoides , B.sphaericus, B.stearothermophilus, B.subtilis türlerinin Lmonocytogenes üzerine inhibitör etkisi gözlenmiştir. İzolasyonu gerçekleştirilen B.circulans, B.macerans, B.licheniformis, B.polymxa türlerinin tüm ortamlarda Lmonocytogenes'e, karşı inhibitor etkisi tespit edilememiştir. Tuz konsantrasyonu %4'e ulaştığında Bacillus'lann inhibitor etkisi sona ermiştir. Glikoz konsantrasyonu ise %4.5 olduğunda tüm Bacillus türlerinin inhibitor etkisinin sona erdiği gözlenmiştir. Araştırmamız sonucunda değişen tuz ve glikoz konsantrasyonlarında inhibitor etkiden kaynaklanan inhibisyon zon çaplarında değişiklikler gözlenmiştir. Tuz konsantrasyonunun artmasıyla inhibisyon zon çapı küçülürken glikoz konsantrasyonunun artışıyla inhibisyon zon çapının genişlediği gözlenmiştir.

In our research we isolated and named 33 Bacilli from 195 raw milk samples. We examined the inhibitor effects of Bacillus on the Listeria monocytogenes (680 x L. monocytogenes 2167 type I). For this purpose, we examined the inhibitor effect with the spot on the lawn method by adding 2%, 2.5%, 3%, 3.5% and 4% NaCl to one BHI medium and adding 2%, 2.5%, 3%, 3.5%, 4% and 4.5% glucose to another BHI medium. We did not observe any inhibitor effect of Bacillus on the L. monocytogenes strains in the BHI mediums to which no salt or glucose was added. However we observed the inhibitor effects of B.brevis, B.cereus, B.lentus, B.coagulant, B.megaterium, B.mycoides, B.shaericus, B.stearothermophilus said B.subtilis strains on the L.monocytogenes strains in the increasing salt and glucose concentrations. We did not determine any inhibitor effect of the isolated B.circulans, B.macerans, B.licheniformis or B.polyma strains on the Lmonocytogenes strains in neither condition. When the salt concentration was 4% the inhibitor effect of the Bacillus was over. Similarly we observed that when the salt concentration was 4.5% the inhibitor effects of all Bacilli were over. As a result of our research, we determined that there were changes in the inhibition zone diameters that occur due to the inhibitor effect in the variable salt and glucose concentrations. While the inhibition zone diameter was getting smaller as the amount of salt concentration increases, it was getting larger as the amount of glucose concentration increases.
