Tığ İğnesi ile Oluşan Penetran Orbital Travma: Olgu Sunumu

Penetran orbital travma nadir görülen fakat optik sinir ve göz küresine önemli ölçüde zarara sebep olabilen bir durumdur. Orbital bölgeyi etkileyen travmalarda hastanın hızlı değerlendirme ve tedavisi gereklidir. Bu olgu sunumunda, orbita içi tığ iğnesi nedeniyle kliniğimizde ameliyat edilen bir olgunun klinik ve operatif bulguları sunulmuştur. Tığ iğnesi ile yaralanan olgunun görmesi ve okulomotor fonksiyonları etkilenmemiş ve komplikasyon gelişmeden iyileşmiştir. Bu olgu nedeniyle orbita içi yabancı cisimlere müdahelede, göz hekimliği yaklaşımı hakkında bilgi verilmiştir.

Penetrating Orbital Trauma by a Crochet Needle: A Case Report

Penetrating orbital injury is uncommon but may cause significant harm to the optic nerve and eyeball. Rapid assessment and treatment of the traumas effecting orbital region is necessary. In this case report, the clinical and operative findings of a case with intra-orbital crochet needle were presented. This patient injured by a crochet needle which did not affect his vision and oculomotor functions and recovered without complications. Related to this case, some information concerning the ophthalmologic approach to intraorbital foreign bodies was provided.
