Bu makalenin amacı Mâtürîdi’nin kötülük problemine ilişkin görüşünü belirlemektir. Ona göre, bu âlemde kötülüğün varlığı bir gerçektir. Ancak kötülüğün hem âlemin yapısı, hem de insanın yapısına dayalı bir yorumu söz konusudur. Dolayısıyla mevcut kötülüğe bu iki açıdan bakılması gerekmektedir. Kötülüğün varlığına dayanarak Allah’ın iyi bir Tanrı olmadığı yahut kötülüğü yok etmek için yeterince güçlü olmadığı düşünülmemelidir

The purpose of this study is to determine al-Maturidi’s opinion corcerning the problem of evil. According to him, existence of evil in the universe is a fact. But there are comments based on both the structures of human and universe.
