Orta Asya Türk Cumhuriyetlerinde Hollanda hastalığı riski: Ampirik bir analiz

Bu çalış mada Hollanda hastalığı hipotezi, Orta Asya Türk Cumhuriyetleriiçin, 1990-2011 dönemi verileriyle, panel veri analizi yöntemiyle test edilmiş tir.Analiz sonucunda, bu ülkelerde petrol fiyatlarındaki artış ların, reel döviz kurununegatif yönde etkilediği ve söz konusu hipotezin geçerli olmadığı tespitedilmiş tir. Ticari dış a açıklık, doğrudan yabancı yatırımlar ve kamuharcamalarının ise reel döviz kurunu pozitif yönde etkilediği bulgusunaula ş ılmış tır.

Dutch disease risk in Central Asian Turkish Republics: An empirical analysis

In this study, Dutch disease hypothesis tested for the Central Asian TurkishRepublics via panel data analysis methods for 1990-2010 periods. As a result ofthe analysis, an increase in crude oil price negatively affects the real exchangerate and Dutch Disease hypothesis invalid in these countries. It was found thattrade openness; foreign direct investments and government expenditures havepositive impact on the real exchange rate in these countries.
