Bira fabrikası artığı yaş mayadan toz maya ekstraktı elde edilmiş ve 2 yabancı ticari firma tarafından üretilen maya ekstraktı ile kimyasal ve mikrobiyolojik açıdan kıyaslanmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar bu maya ekstraktının mikrobiyolojik çalışmalarda kullanılabileceğini göstermiştir.   

Dry yeast extract has been prepared from brewers waste wet yeast and compared with 2 foreign commercial yeast extract by the means of chemical and microbiological analysis. Results showed that this product is suitable for microbiological tests.
