Bu çalışmada kömürün yanma süreci, fotoğrafik ve renksel yöntemle belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla beş adet farklı özellikte aynı boyutlu kömürtozu fırında ısıl işleme tabi tutulmuş ve belirli sıcaklık aralıklarında çekilen fotoğraflar bilgisayar ortamına aktarılmıştır. Görüntülerin renk analizleri yapılarak elde edilen sayısal görüntüler ile fırın sıcaklığı ve kömür özellikleri arasında ilişki kurularak yanma sürecine renksel ve fotoğrafik olarak yaklaşımda bulunulmuştur.

In this study, coal combustion process were investigated by using photographic methods. To reach this aim five coal fines which have different properties but similar size fraction were tested in oven and their photographs were taken different temperature with regular basis. Then these photographs were imported to computer for digital analysis. Colour and gray scale differentiation were performed to compare if there are any meaningful relation among colour of coal dusts oven temperature and coal properties while they are combusting. As a result; coal fines combustion procedure were determined in stepwise photographs and colourmetric methods. Several approach were given for their interpretation.
