Bu araştırmada Türkşerefli baraj yerinde yapılan jeoteknik değerlendirme sonuçları tanımlanmaktadır. Türkşerefli baraj yeri Ankara ilinin batısında Sarıömerli nehiri üzerindedir. Sulama amaçlı yapılacak Türkşerefli barajı kireçtaşı temel üzerine oturmaktadır. Jeoteknik çalışmalar; saha incelemelerini, kaya kütle sınıflamaları RMR (Bieniawski,1989) ve GSI (Hoek and Brown,1997), kaya kütle özellikleri, yamaç duraylılığı ve temelin geçirgenliğini içermektedir.

This paper describes the results of geotechnical evaluation carried out at the Turkserefli dam site. The Turkserefli dam will be built on the Sarıömerli river, located western part of Ankara city in the central part of Turkey. The dam is designed to regulate the drainage and to irrigate the agricultural areas. The Turkserefli dam will be constructed on the limestone foundation. Geotechnical evaluation contains site investigation, sampling for laboratory testing, estimation of the rock mass properties and determination of rock mass classifications of RMR ( Bieniawski,1989) and GSI ( Hoek and Brown,1997) ,evaluation of the slope stability and permeability of foundation.
