Konjenital lobar amfizemi taklit eden konjenital segmenter amfizem olgusu

Case of congenital segmental emphysema mimicking congenital lobar emphysema

Congenital lobar emphysema characterized by over distension and air trapping in the affected lobe is one of the rare causes of infantile respiratory distress syndrome. Surgical removal of the affected lobe is the most commonly accepted form of treatment. We reported an infant case that diagnosed congenital lobar emphysema on both chest radiography and computed tomography preoperatively. Resection of the only affected segment that realized intraoperatively was performed with good result
