Günümüz yabancı dil öğrenim ve öğretiminde ve özellikle de sözlü anlatım dersleri bağlamında, kültürlerası iletişim becerisi önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Ancak, söz konusu becerinin geliştirilebilmesi, öğrencinin sosyokültürel, bilişsel ve duyuşsal durumlarına uygun öğretim meodları çerçevesinde olasıdır. Bu nedenle, söz konusu çalışmanın başlıca konusu, yabancı dil öğrencilerinin kültürel etkileşim becerilerini artırmak amacıyla uygulanan ve Avrupa Birliği Ortak Dil Kriterleriyle (2001) uyumlu yabancı dil öğretim metodlarını incelenmektedir.

Actually, cross-cultural communicative competence occupies an important place in teaching- learning approaches and particularly in speaking skills courses. However, for the improvement of this competence we need teaching methods compatible with the cognitive, emotional and sociocultural situations of the student. Therefore, the aim of this article is to study the teaching foreign languages methods which are compatible with Common European Framework of Reference (2001) and useful for the improvement of the cross-cultural communication competence.
