Türkiye\'de sanayileşme hareketleri özellikle 1950\'li yıllardan sonra daha hızlı bir şekilde gelişmeye başlamıştır. Bu tarihlerden itibaren şehirleşmenin hızlanmasına bağlı olarak tuğla ve kiremide olan talep bu sanayiinin gelişmesine neden olmuştur. Bu çalışmada önce Türkiye\'de tuğla ve kiremit sanayiinin özellikleri belirtilmiş, daha sonra bu sanayi sektörünün gelişmiş olduğu illerden birisi olan Çorum\'daki durumu hakkında bilgi verilmiştir.

The industrialization movements in Turkey have started to develop more rapidly after the 1950\'s. From these dates, the ruquest for brick and tile connected with the rapid urbanization caused the development of brick and tile industries. In this study, firstly, the characteristics of brick and tile industries in Turkey are determined. Then the information is given about situation of these industries in Çorum which these industries are progressed.
