Bilgi çağının, sürekli değişen ve gelişen koşullarına ayak uydurmak her meslek gurubu için önemliyken, eğitimciler için bir zorunluluk olmuştur. 21. yüzyılda eğitim kurumları ve eğitimciler yeni taleplerle karşılaşacağından eğitimli insan tanımı, öğrenme ve öğretme biçimleri, öğrenilen ve öğretilen değişecek, gelişecektir. Bu anlamdaki değişim ve gelişimde etken olan yaratıcı kişilik özelliğine sahip bireylerin yetişmesi daha da önem kazanmıştır. Buna paralel olarak sanat eğitimcisi yetiştiren Eğitim Fakültelerinde de bilgi çağı verileriyle beslenen bir sanat eğitiminin gerekliliği doğmuştur. Bu bağlamda çalışmada Eğitim Fakültelerinin Resim öğretmeni yetiştiren bölümlerinin çağın dinamizmine paralel eğitim verebilmesi amacı ile öneriler geliştirilmiştir.
