Pulmonary alveolar microlithiasis: Radiological findings

Bu çalışmada pulmoner alveolar mikrolitiazisli 37 yaşındaki erkek hastanın radyolojik bulguları sunulmaktadır. Akciğer radyogramlarında "kum fırtınası görünümü" olarak tanımlanan yaygın mikronodüler gölgelenmeler izlenmiştir. HRCT incelemesinde her iki akciğer parankiminde kalsifık dansiteler ve subplevral butter saptanmıştır. Akciğer biopsisiyle PAM tanısı doğrulanmıştır.

Pulmoner alveoler mikrolitiazis: Radyolojik bulgular

We report the radiological findings from a 37-year-old male with pulmonary alveolar microlithiasis (PAM). Chest radiograms a revealed diffuse micronodular shadow, which is described as sandstorm lung. In high resolution CT (HRCT) scans, we found calcific densities through both the lung parenchyma and subpleural bullae. A lung biopsy suggested the diagnosis of PAM,
